Quality control

Once you have the design package it would be a shame to see the quality of construction suffer because of lack of management. There are several ways you might want to proceed whether you are 'self-building' or contracting the work out to landscaping specialists. Our Project Management services can be useful in either situation - enabling tighter control of the quality of work being undertaken, whether you intend to do some or all of the work yourself or employ the services of a contractor.

Folio Garden Designs offer support at a variety of levels. At the most basic level, you may simply select the 'constructional notes' option with the design – this will enable you to invite tenders from contractors knowing that they will all be quoting on a 'like for like' basis, so you can effectively compare costs. It will also enable you to keep tabs on the construction process as the work progresses. If you fancy having a go at the construction yourself, we can help with that too.
We can provide full project management services, from regular advisory visits to full supervision, mostly charged at an hourly rate.

Alternatively, we can organise the whole project for you, including directly sub-contracting the building work.

The object is to ensure that from design to completion, quality, integrity of design and value for money are the priorities.
